The room at Heritage House was absolutely amazing! It had a cozy sofa and a comfortable seating area where I could relax and unwind. The flat-screen TV with satellite channels was a bonus for entertainment. The well-fitted kitchenette with a dining area made it easy for me to prepare my meals. The private bathroom with bathrobes made me feel like I was in a luxury hotel. I loved the warm and inviting vibe of the room!
The only thing I wasn't a huge fan of was the rainfall showerhead in the bathroom. It's just my personal preference, but others might still enjoy it.

Boutique and charming property with a walk-in shower. Reasonably large and tasteful rooms. Best bathroom and kitchenette. Incredible and amazing location, adjacent to the centre of town and the restaurants and shops. Nice surrounding, set to good restaurant...
Bad free Wi-Fi.

Whenever I visit, I always stay at this amazing place. The staff even helped me find my lost jewel during my first stay! It has everything I need like free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, and an off-site car park. Can't wait to come back for another city trip!

I loved amicable employees.
Good setting, welcoming rooms, everything was fine. The host helped me a lot. Coffee/tea making equipment, a multi-channel TV, and a dining area were handy. It was in an original house just off the restaurants and shops.

I arranged accommodation at Heritage House for an international guest and Belinda provided excellent communication regarding his arrival, load shedding, and key arrangements. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated with a mix of antique and modern furniture, and had fluffy robes, umbrellas, and a coffee machine. The hospitality manager was incredibly helpful and friendly, providing great restaurant suggestions. The location was ideal, within walking distance of shops, restaurants, cafes, and the botanical gardens. We felt safe and enjoyed the free, secure parking.
I do recommend this hotel.

The rooms were stunning, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. the attention to detail was exceptional, with fluffy robes, a coffee machine, and even a decanter of sherry provided. the bed was super comfy and we had a great night's sleep. the location was perfect, with shops, restaurants, and cafes just a short walk away. We felt completely safe in the area and the free and secure parking was a bonus.
The lack of a communal indoor area. It would have been nice to have a welcoming sitting room at the entrance, especially considering how tasteful and homey the rooms were.

I absolutely adored the decoration of Heritage House, from the beautiful antique furniture to the charming artwork on the walls. It felt like stepping back in time, which was perfect for a senior like me who appreciates nostalgia. The general areas were also well-maintained and easy to navigate for us older folks. And the best part? The hotel's central location made it a breeze to explore Stellenbosch without having to venture too far from the hotel.
I would have loved if there was a cozy communal area indoors where the children working there could welcome guests. It would have been nice to have a space to relax and mingle with other guests, especially for senior people like myself who appreciate a warm and inviting atmosphere.

I absolutely loved the beautiful decor at Heritage House! The mix of antique and modern furniture created a charming and elegant atmosphere. The common areas were spacious and well-maintained, making it easy for me to move around as a senior. The hotel's location was also perfect for me, as it was within a short walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the botanical gardens. It felt safe and secure, allowing me to explore the area without any worries.
If I had to suggest one improvement for a better vacation experience for senior people, it would be for the shower head to be replaced. It would have been nice to have a shower with an adjustable height, making it easier for seniors like me to comfortably use.

The lack of a communal area indoors. It would have been nice to have a welcoming sitting room at the entrance area.

Our stay at Heritage House was absolutely delightful. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by our host who provided us with excellent recommendations for local dining options. The room itself was stunning, combining antique and modern elements to create a truly unique and comfortable space. The bed was cozy, complete with an electric blanket for added warmth. We appreciated the thoughtful touches like umbrellas, fluffy robes, and a decanter of sherry in the room. The availability of a coffee machine and bottled water was a convenient touch as well. Despite being situated in a historical building, the room was impeccably clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Additionally, we felt safe and secure in the area, and the location was within walking distance of shops, restaurants, cafes. The peaceful residential street added to the ambiance of the stay, and having free and secure parking on site was a great convenience.
While the architecture of the historical building made our room a bit on the darker side, it was not something that the hotel or staff could control. Additionally, I personally found the rate to be slightly on the higher side, but this did not hinder my overall appreciation for the efforts and attention to detail displayed by Heritage House.
